$250 by August 23
- Reserved Registration: Nautica Malibu Triathlon reserves Classic Distance registration entries for Corporate Challenge / Entertainment Industry Challenge athletes that commit to raising $250 by August 23, 2019
- Team Scoring: If you raise $250 by August 23 you will officially qualify to be a part of your Corporate Challenge / Entertainment Industry Challenge team and will be eligible to have your race time count towards your team’s overall place against other corporations for the fastest team
- Team Racking: You have trained and fundraised with your team, now rack together too! Your team will receive a designated area with custom signage within the transition area for your team to rack their bikes. Great for a first time athlete looking for a little direction in the morning from a friendly face or just to enjoy the team spirit and camaraderie.
- Fundraiser Picnic – You’ve worked hard to meet the fundraising minimum, now enjoy the fundraiser picnic held on Zuma Beach. Date TBD.
$350 by August 23
- Post-Race Athlete Brunch: Raise $350 by August 23, and you will relax and enjoy a catered brunch on the beach after the Sunday Classic Distance race. You’ve fundraising and raced, and have earned your spot in the athlete brunch.
$350 by July 26 for the Merrill Lynch Swim Clinic Series
- Merrill Lynch Swim Clinic Series: If you have raised $350 by July 26, you will be invited to attend the swim clinic series throughout the summer with triathlon coaches and plenty of life guards for you to practice your open water swimming. You will also receive samples from the event sponsors. Merrill Lynch Swim Clinic Series dates can be found in the "Swim Clinics" section of this website.
$500 by September 6
- Early Packet Pickup: The event will host an early packet pickup in Burbank which makes picking up your race packet easy without having to travel to the beach. Athletes must raise a minimum of $500 by September 6 to receive this prize.
$500 by September 15 at 9:00am PDT
- Nautica branded towel: Raise $500 by September 14 and receive this extremely popular Nautica branded item!
$750 by September 15 at 9:00am PDT
- Nautica branded fleece blanket
- Nautica Blue Ambition fragrance
$1,000 by September 15 at 9:00am PDT
- XTERRA and CHLA branded transition backpack
- Family Brunch Pass – Raise $1,000 and upgrade your brunch pass to a family brunch pass (one extra adult wristband and additional 2 children wristbands).
$2,500 by September 6
- Early Wave Start: Raise $2,500 by September 6 and receive the opportunity to start in an early wave.
$5,000 by September 6
- VIP Parking Pass: Raise $5,000 by September 6 and receive a VIP Parking Pass.
$10,000 by September 6
- Valet Parking: Raise $10,000 by September 6 and take the stress out of parking with valet parking.
- VIP Bike Racking: Raise $10,000 by September 6 and enjoy VIP bike racking in Transition Area.
SUBMITTING A CHECK DONATION
If a donor prefers to write a check for his or her donation, you may submit using the following steps:
1. Please make sure the check is payable to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
2. Log the check on your fundraising page as an offline donation using these steps:
a. Login to your account on www.CrowdRise.com
b. In the upper right hand corner, click on the CrowdRise icon drop down menu.
c. Click on “Campaigns” to access your Campaign Hub
d. Hover over your Nautica fundraising page click the “Manage” icon
e. In Campaign Manager, click on “Add Offline Donations” (on right hand side of the page)
f. Enter the donor name and amount
g. Click on the “Add Another Donation +” to add more checks or “save” if you’re all done
3. When you have finished entering your offline donation(s), mail the check(s) to:

The Merrill Lynch Swim Clinic Series is designed to teach you swimming techniques and prepare you for race day. Triathlon swim coaches will be there to guide you and ensure your safety.
Who gets to participate?
- The Merrill Lynch Swim Clinic Series is exclusively for corporate team athletes who have raised a minimum of $350.
- Friends and family are not be able to participate in the clinic.
- Your fundraising page must show the $350 or more by 3:00pm on Friday prior to each Saturday clinic to qualify for registration.
What time should you arrive?
- Please arrive no later than 7:15 a.m. to ensure you have time to change into your wetsuit.
- Check-in closes at 7:20 a.m. Any arrivals after this time will not be allowed to swim. The clinic will start promptly at 7:30 a.m.
Where are the clinics?
- Open water clinics will take place at Zuma Beach Lifeguard Tower #10.
What should you bring?
- Goggles – These will be important to see in the water.
- Wetsuit – The water is pretty chilly so we recommend you bring a wetsuit.
- Change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, etc.

Important Information
A USAT fee of $15 applies during registration for the swim clinics for non-annual USAT members.
Only one USAT fee is required per person per swim clinic series.
The Nautica Malibu Triathlon is fun for the whole family! On Sunday, September 15, 2019 CHLA invites all kids 12 years of age and under to participate in their own race – The Tot Trot. The Tot Trot is 50 yards for children 7 and under and 100 yards for children ages 8-12.
Participating children will receive a Tot Trot goody bag, a commemorative race medal and a race t-shirt. So bring your kids and cheer them on as they run for the finish line with a celebrity guest leading the way!
There is a $20 donation to CHLA for each child who participates.

Join Us for the Fundraiser Picnic!
Our Nautica Malibu Triathlon Presented by Bank of America Fundraiser Picnic for EICCC participants who have reached their fundraising minimum for CHLA will take place on Saturday, August 24th from 10 am to 1 pm at Zuma Beach, Tower #10.
Relax on over-sized beach blankets as you enjoy delicious food catered by Greenleaf Chop Shop. Bring your family along to join in on the fun with cornhole games, beach balls, and frisbees. You must have raised $250 to attend the picnic. Family and friends can join in the fun for a $20 cash donation payable at the picnic.
