On May 24, 2019, the Judith P. Hoyer Montessori PTSA will hold its Seventh Annual Fun Run fundraiser. Our family has been a part of this school since its earliest days more than 10 years ago. We are closing in on the end of our time here - please help support this small but mighty public Montessori school!
Last year’s Hoyer Fun Run raised over $23,000 to support and enrich the curriculum. Of the funds raised, over $6,700 was allocated for specialized Montessori classroom materials essential to our curriculum; $1,800 toward staff development and appreciation; $4,175 for field trips; $1,000 for athletics;and $2,800 for our week-long annual arts residency. As our school community continues to grow, including the expansion of our middle school program, so do our efforts increase to provide much needed financial support. We have an ambitious goal of raising $25,000 for this year’s Fun Run. These funds will support the items listed above as well as expanded initiatives including, but not limited to:
- Improving school technology
- Upgrading our recess/playtime assets (including refurbishing and/or purchasing new equipment);
- Supporting our annual arts residency
- and more.
