Basically everything I do is associated with a fundraiser. So why stop now?
Tomorrow morning I am heading out for a 22 mile jaunt on more technical terrain than I'm used to. This trail completely humbled me a week ago, leaving me ten miles in wondering if I'd be able to hike out. I was honestly contemplating the helicopter option for the first time in my life.
But, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Right?
"it's ok to struggle, it's not ok to give up" Right?
The first attempt left me secretly hoping for rain the rest of the week. Turns out, it's beautiful out and tomorrow looks no different so I get to give it hell. The current fastest time is 3:57:45 by Ryan Atkins.
Here's to not giving up when it gets hard. Here's to embracing that suffer and embracing whatever it is causing your suffering, knowing it too shall pass.
Thanks for all the continued donations! Lets keep spreading hope and kicking rare cancer’s ass.
