Nala is a young female pitbull rescued from the streets of El Salvador. She was found laying by the side of the road as she dragged herself with a back injury caused by a car. Further investigation revaled she had owners that disposed of her when she wasn’t useful to them with that injury. She had been used for careless breeding and monetary reasons.
She was brough to the vet immediately. Vet evaluation determined she has a positive outlook to walk again but it will be a hard and long process with regular theraphy to allow the back to heal and the muscles to regenerate and get stronger. She can’t even stand up on her own. She’s also severely undernourished.
We are fundraising to help Nala pay her vet bill that includes the evaluation, hospitalization, theraphy, sterilization, medications, vitamins and food. It is estimated it will take around 3-4 months for her to get to 100%. She’s currently at the vet and she will stay there so she can be monitored and properly taken care of. Please consider donating today. We can’t change her past but we can change her future. She has suffered enough. Any donation amount helps.
