Two years ago I moved to MN with an adorable cat named Missy. She was one of my best friends, but I couldn't lay around all day like her so I started volunteering with Secondhand Hounds. I saw the passion of everyone involved in the organization and I wanted to get involved. One day, a little sassy cat named Kiwi decided she wanted to be my first foster. A few dogs and cats later and I was hooked. Then came little Cerys. She was an indoor/outdoor cat that had lots of cute kittens I'm sure, but she was tired of being a mommy. She came to SHH with a frost bitten ear, skin and bones, and needing some love. Her first day she gobbled up some food and could not stop purring. She knew she was finally safe! She had quite a few medical needs, but the Secondhand Hounds Vet Center took great care of her! She still needs some medicine and isn't ready for adoption yet, but without this great organization little Cerys and so many like her would not be here today. Your donation goes towards helping them get that little extra TLC they need.
