For a sport where you compete as an individual, the sense of community is very strong in Powerlifting and nowhere is that better exemplified than here in Brooklyn. On Sunday, March 29th, we will be proudly representing Murder of Crows Barbell Club at the first full powerlifting meet being held at Strength For All!! Strength For All is near and dear to our hearts and we are super excited to do what we can to help support them and further the mission and message of the Women’s Strength Coalition.
Strength For All is a non-profit, sliding scale, donation based gym, located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The gym was “intentionally designed...to promote access to strength training and fitness for people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, gender identities, orientations, sizes, abilities, and income levels.”
We are asking you, our friends and family, to show your support for us by contributing to the Women’s Strength Coalition’s National Women’s Month campaign.
The donations received as part of this campaign will help to keep Strength For All open and operational and able to continue being a safe and affirming space. They have only been open since March of 2019, but have already touched so many lives. No contribution is too small and we highly encourage you to check out both the gym, Strength For All, and it’s parent organization, the Women’s Strength Coalition, to understand the impact of your contribution.
