The Mt Hebron Lacrosse program is competing against our rival Centennial High School to see who can raise more money for the fight against Childhood Cancer. Every year we host the Fight for 5 lacrosse tournament to honor Evan Nicholson who lost his battle to Leukemia in the fall of 2007.
Centennial High School lost a proud student athlete of their own. Zach Lederer lost his battle with cancer just a few year back. Zach was a great young man who like Evan is a great role model and example of what true relience and toughness is
Over the next week we will be challenging the CHS lacrosse program to see who can raise more money for the Zaching against Cancer Organization
My challenge to each and every player in our program is to use your email, social media, and phone contacts to encourage friends, family members and local business's to contribute. The winning Program will recieve a plaque in their honor. Lets keep in mind that this is a friendly competition but it is a competition and we do not want to lose to Centennial. So be active and inspire everyone that you know to donate some money to help end childhood cancer!
I know my Viking family will not let us down! Go Hebron, Beat Centennial!!!
