Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center provides free, comprehensive and integrated primary care, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, dental, optical, and health and wellness education services to more than 12,000 young people between the ages of 10 and 24 each year, regardless of their immigration status or ability to pay.
For more than 50 years, the Center has been a critical resource for young people in NYC and beyond, most of whom would otherwise go without care. We have served adolescents and young adults by addressing their unique health needs and providing a safe, welcoming space.
We partner with our patients and work to educate them so that they are better able to advocate for themselves and others. Our wide range of programs—including HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, substance abuse prevention, nutrition and wellness classes, legal and entitlement services, and specialized services for LBGQ+ and transgender youth, teen parents, and trauma victims and survivors —address the diverse needs of the youth who use and rely on the Center.
We invite you to run for this important cause and make a difference in the lives of our young people, and the health of our community.
Every $1,000 raised will provide a full year of free, comprehensive health care to a young person in need. Please support our efforts to keep our youth happy, healthy and well educated, with hopes and opportunities, by preventing disease and promoting health.
