The Relay For Life at the University of Michigan (MRelay) is fundraising in memory of Kate Palermo, a fellow member of the MRelay Planning Committee and valued member of the University of Michigan community, who passed away in November after a battle with leukemia.
All money raised will go toward MRelay and the American Cancer Society, a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to saving lives, celebrating lives, and leading the fight for a world without cancer. To learn more about the ACS, please visit www.cancer.org.
Although Kate was only 19 years old, she touched so many lives and is someone who will never be forgotten. To learn more about Kate's journey and read stories of Kate's courage, kindness, humor, and love of Michigan football, please look at her obituary and CaringBridge blog page.
