Our talented friend and beloved storyteller, Mr. Hart, has the opportunity to go to Malawi, Africa, this summer on a life-changing, story-gathering adventure for locally-based non-profit organization, Freshwater Project International.
Freshwater, which provides clean water and safe sanitation to villages, schools and health centers in Malawi, is in need of professional photographs and moving stories depicting both the real life need and joyful impact of its programs in Malawi.
Sharing stories is an important way to involve donors and supporters in the vital efforts of our work thousands of miles away. PowerPoint and statistics can only convey so much. To involve people at the deepest level, we need enriching stories!
Our country director, Henrick Kunkeyani, will host Mr. Hart, and take him out to our projects in the remote areas of the country. He will visit schools, villages, and health facilities where access to clean water is scarce. He will also visit projects where water and sanitation have been provided, and will capture the joy and impact to the health and livelihood of the people.
If funds can be collected in time, the trip will be planned for late June-early July. An event will be planned for later in the summer to share these stories and photographs. You and your families will be invited to this exciting experience!!
Please consider a tax-deductible donation that will be designated to send Mr. Hart on a two-week story gathering trip to Malawi!
