// Recovering from the trauma of sex trafficking is like climbing a mountain. It requires an incredible effort of time, energy, and HARD work - as well as support and resources from the community.
That's why during the week of July 12-18 I will be moving for Amirah -- to bring awareness to the fact that every year, hundreds of thousands of women are bought and sold against their will right here in the United States. But more than awareness, my prayer is that the people of God will respond on behalf of these women by giving financially to support the movement of freedom AND Gospel restoration that is taking place at Amirah.
//My move goal is to do a bodyweight, reverse, sled-drag (yes, I know I'm extra) for a total of 12 miles over the course of July 12-18. This means pulling a sled backwards that has 175 pounds stacked on top of it. The 12 miles represent the first 12 months of healing that are so devastatingly difficult for these women who have been rescued from their traffickers.
//Will you please prayerfully consider giving to help end the cycle of exploitation and to bring hope to those who have none?
