Together we will make sure that no child is abandoned twice!
This summer I have the amazing opportunity to travel with Move A Mountain Missions to serve some of the most vulnerable members of our human family in Kingston, Jamaica. We will be living and serving at Mustard Seed Communities, a home for abandoned children who suffer from a range of physical and mental disabilities. Many of the children at Mustard Seed were abandoned on the streets because their parents did not feel capable of caring for them. Motivated by the Gospel's call to care for the most vulnerable, Monsignor Gregory Ramkissoon begin to take these children in, eventually establishing Mustard Seed Communities. 40 years later and this small Mustard Seed of hope has grown to serve over 600 children and adults with disabilities. This continued growth and improvement in the quality of care for the residents is made possible by generous donors like you!
I am thrilled to have this opportunity, because this will be my first mission trip outside of the country. While there we will have work projects to do and plenty of time to interact with the residents: helping the caregivers with feeding and bringing the joy and love of Christ to them. But I cannot do it without your help. Your tax exempt donation will not only make this experience possible for me, but I am also working to raise $1000 for Mustard Seed Communities which will sustain their work of providing food, shelter, and love to the most vulnerable.
Thank you for helping us to Move Mountains!
