I’m one of 1,300 volunteers who change the lives of those who live with physical, mental and emotional disabilities through the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD). As a team, we dedicate over 35,000 hours of our time annually to helping individuals with a disability to ski, snowboard, kayak, rock climb, play team sports, and otherwise achieve their personal best!
Skiing has been a life long love for me and the happiness that a day on the slopes brings to my life is immeasurable. I'm so grateful that with the help of NSCD, I have been able to pass this passion on to my son, Milan. Recently, I began the training program with NSCD to become a volunteer ski instructor with their adaptive ski program at Winter Park. It fills me with joy to have this new avenue to share my passion for the life enriching benefits of skiing with others.
I’ve created this fundraising page as part of the larger NSCD Volunteer2Peer Challenge, with the hope of inspiring others to support NSCD by sharing my dedication to this organization. Please consider donating to the NSCD, to ensure all of their life-changing programs have funding for years to come! THANK YOU!
