A desperate milestone has been reached in our East Africa Project in Kampala Uganda.
Due to the dedication and never-ending effort of mission partner Rescue Woman Foundation, we are in need of a second home to serve young mothers as they transition from pregnant to parenting while continuing their education. Help "Rescue, Restore, Raise Up!" these teen mothers.
The mission house utilized to bring in pregnant girls who have been rescued (from sexual exploitation/abuse and child-bride situations) via outreach, is full beyond capacity! Addressing the different needs of the now parenting mothers in a seperate home would alleviate over crowding and make room to serve additional pregnant mothers.
This is such important work on behalf of the the outcast, those on the periphery of society in an area of great need. Aid to these mothers and in turn, their children, restores them to their full dignity, raising them up and society around them.
The Mothers' Home is rented and ready - but bare! Now we must establish it as habitable for our precious moms and children. We are in need of beds, mattresses, beddings, mosquito netting, computer and printer, toiletries, equip the kitchen and kitchen supplies, etc. The total is $5,000+. With every dollar the priorities will be purchased so as to move forward as soon as possible. It is necessary to give the pregnant moms the space they need and the parenting moms the services to move forward.
Thank you for your love and generosity.
