Three out of four families from Montclair School of Academics and Enrichment are known to struggle with food and housing costs. Since Denver Public School buildings have closed due to COVID-19 and many families have lost employment, our community's struggles are even more profound – and their anxiety even more immediate.
In response to this crisis, the school's parent group, Montclair PEAK (Parents, Educators and Kids), has created the Montclair Emergency Family Relief Fund to raise money for immediate dispersal to our families in need. Working with Montclair School's Family Liaison, Cajah Reed, we will ensure the money is distributed directly to those in our Montclair community who have reached out to the school for help with food, shelter or any other basic needs.
Your donation will go straight to Montclair families, with no administration fees or overhead. In addition, Montclair PEAK has committed to contribute a total of $1500 in matching funds.
Please help our Montclair community by giving today, and sharing among your personal and professional networks. No amount is too small and every amount is tremendously appreciated.
Please note: Montclair PEAK is a 501 (c)(3). Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
