MoMo Memories
Every year, hundreds of local families come together to share with each other their journeys, their babies and their hopes. It is a time when we can openly grieve and remember, and through that togetherness, we grow in the hope that carries us forward. The Walk for Remembrance & Hope is Heartstrings’ most important pregnancy and infant loss outreach event to support bereaved families, and it also financially ensures the continuation of our grief support programs for families in need.
Our Story:
In 2013, our family was excited and scared to announce our pregnancy. We were finally expecting.....
To say we had a high risk pregnancy was an understatement. It was a time full of surprises (TWINS!!) and scary moments (Mo-Mo Twins). Through our journey we were introduced to some amazing and caring individuals. Although we were able to bring one of our boys home, we were faced with the incredible loss of losing, Travis, at 18-19 weeks gestation. It is a loss that we live and deal with daily. I am thankful to the wonderful people at Heartstrings for the support they provide to so many families in our community.
We hope that you will support this walk in Remembrance of Travis and all the other babies gone to soon.
Thank you!!
