In a year where we all feel so helpless and that everything is out of our control, it means more than ever to help others when we can. As most of you know, I lost my mother and father to lung cancer at young ages. Every year I support CancerCare in any way I can. They were there for me when my mom passed and I needed someone to lean on and talk with. I spoke with a bereavement counselor at no cost because others had donated and I was able to get help for free. This wonderful organization provides financial, mental and physical support to anyone that receives a cancer diagnosis OR a family member that might need support as well.
Last year CancerCare helped 174,600 people throughout the US & distributed $39.7 million in financial and co-payment assistance! Emotional support was provided to 79,842 people!
Please help me to help CancerCare! They rely on our donations to help others. Let's help others when we can. Every single dollar helps. This has been a horrible year and let's all Do Something to make someone's life a little better! XO
