COVID19 has hit Indian Reservations and the homeless especially hard. Feeling helpless and hungry is scary and discouraging.
To address these problems AIEC has created a plan to work with local county social services departments to provide food through the Restaurant Meals Program. The purchase of two food trucks will allow AIEC to drive to California Rancherias and homeless communities to provide hot meals to those most in need.
These food trucks will provide services to eligible homeless, elderly and disabled CalFresh households in our communities who may not be able to leave their homes or are lacking transportation. These food trucks will ensure they are able to use their EBT benefits to eat a hot meal.
Please join us by sending your heartfelt donatins to raise $150,000 to purchase two food trucks. AIEC's dream is to provide meals through the Restaurant Meals Program.
