We at Spring Street CDC are always looking for new, fresh, exciting and innovative ways to reach out to our community and provide assistance. It is with this in mind that we are developing a mobile food pantry program. In retro-fitting our existing school bus with shelving, refrigeration and a freezer, we will be able to make bulk pickups from the Community Food Bank and deliver to smaller food pantries that don't have the ability to make these pickups themselves. It is our hope and desire to be able to bring more fresh food out into the communities and those who need it most. This has motivated and inspired us to push forward and collaborate with Morris County pantries to develop this system of increasing the outreach to any and all who will benefit the most from our efforts. We hope you are as excited about this new project as we are!!!!!!
