'Monday Night Hospitality' has been serving restaurant-style meals for over 38 years to New York's homeless and those in need. Nobody is ever turned away.
Every Monday night over 300 meals are served including vegetarian and vegan options. At 7pm the doors are open at the All Souls Unitarian Church in the UES, one of the most affluent neighborhoods in NYC. The team is struggling with an outdated kitchen that is not designed to serve so many. It desperately needs to be updated, adding refrigeration and freezer space that will allow more food donations to be accepted, and a food pantry - to give groceries to our 'guests'.
I have been volunteering as a table server since the summer, and have become very passionate about the organizations mission. Serving the guests, I see first hand the impact it has on their lives. I welcome you so support the organization with a donation to help continue and improve the organizations great work. Please help with this cause, anything counts - no matter how big or small!
