As a Team Lead with Minds Matter, I have the pleasure of working with a group of 12 highly dedicated and driven students. Francy and Nabaa have aspirations of studying medicine and science; José is leaning toward writing and philosophy; Elvio wants to go into math to name a few. These students show up every Saturday from 9 to 2:15 - effectively an additional day of school - to work toward these goals. I am so grateful to be a part of these incredible students' high school experience.
Getting to know them over the last year and an half, I am convinced that each of them will find success in whatever they decide to pursue and that Minds Matter presents opportunities that will help and guide them on this journey. For these and many more reasons, I am proud to be part of the Minds Matter community. I encourage you to contribute to this great organization in any way that you can whether it be through donating, volunteering or helping get the word out about the program so that we can grow and provide these opportunities to as many students as possible!
More about MINDS MATTER :
