Education changes everything! Mission Santa Maria enables children in Ecuador to receive education, food, and shelter. Many of these children come from abusive families and extreme poverty. Through the support of Mission Santa Maria these children are provided a “sanctuary” and a chance for a better future. Many of us want to do something to help and want a reputable cause to ensure our money goes right to the kids- Jim and Grace did just that!
In January 2019, my brother, Jim Campbell and his wife Grace, left a Manhattan banking career and moved permanently to Ecuador to work full time with kids of Mission Santa Maria.

Why I run?
When people hear that I'm training for a marathon, most think/say "you're crazy". Honestly, running keeps me from going crazy! I am grateful that running gives me an outlet for stress, clarity for my mind, and a reminder that we are stronger then we think!
I run with "gratitude miles and intention miles". Every mile that I log, I dedicate to either gratitude or prayers for others. For example: I run for gratitude to my father and uncle, who served and were injured in Vietnam, who won't ever run again. I run in gratitude for mental health and for all those struggling to find mental stabilty. I run a prayer mile: for my family, my kids, and my community. If you have any intentions that wouldd help me log in my many many miles, send them to me!
