Due to Hurricane Irma's devastation of Anguilla in September 2017 our church suffered substantial loss. Roof damage and loss of stained windows resulted in extensive flooding that damaged our ceilings, audio and video equipment, furnishings and more. Our initial assessment of the damage and cost of repair was far below the actualities.
In response to the personal crises caused by Irma we gave the financial assistance we received from our Cayman churches, along with our own funds, to persons in our church and the community.
With so many auditoriums and churches unusable, we were able to facilitate the diverse functions of churches, schools, the Anguilla Community College, UWI Open Campus and many government departments. We were able to provide some stability in an extremely unstable time.
Now it's time to repair God's house!
With this restoration we will be better equipped to serve the community and enhance our commitments. We partner with the Sports Deparment by facilitating activities at our facility for at risk youth.
