Miracle Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a nursing home located in the heart of Frenchtown and was founded in 1968. From Day One, Miracle Hill catered to Medicaid recipients and low-income families when other facilities closed the door Through it all, it's been one of Tallahassee's largest private employers of minority health-care professionals and a haven for the vulnerable.
"When a resident can’t go to another facility due to them just having Medicaid, they can come here,” Angeles Allen (social services). “I think a lot of patients who have been turned down, Miracle Hill always seems to take them.”
Founded on “Good Samaritan” principles, Miracle Hill offers careful supervision for citizens who are in need of long term care nursing services and/or skilled rehabilitative services.
Recently, Miracle Hill was impacted by a COVID-19 outbreak within their nursing facilities, affecting some of the most vulnerable populations amidst this pandemic. They are asking for the donation of supplies that would assist with management of this outbreak. The funds gathered will be used to purchase some of these supplies including: pulse oximeters, touchless thermometers and sanitation supplies. These supplies will be presented to Miracle Hill on behalf of FSU’s College of Medicine.
