I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, and my initial reaction was shock. After a few tests and various appointments I realized that the early detection saved my life.

8.13.19 UPDATE - I‘ve completed my first four rounds of chemotherrapy without complication. My ultrasound is scheduled for the 21st to monitor progresss but based on the physical examination, the tumor has shrunk significantly!!!! Assuming the ultrasound is consistent with that exam, I’ll continue with the second part of my chemo treatment (the -T in AC-T) and am on track for surgery in the late fall.
Baby girl started pre-K this week. Time is flying. I’m exhausted but in good spirits because of God’s mercy and the love and support of our family a friends. Thank you everyone SO much!
