Millionair Club Charity provides job opportunities and job readiness services to men and women in the Greater Seattle area who are experiencing homelessness and poverty. We provide real opportunities to find stability and self-sufficiency through training and practical experience to roughly 1,000 men and women each year. We've been serving the people of this region for 99 years.
Normally, we break down barriers to employment by providing a hygiene center, a laundry center, job training workshops, work licensure, transportation, and work uniforms. Our partners provide meals, vision care, medical care, and dental care. Our local network of over 700 employers include some of the biggest corporations in the area, including Centurylink Field and T-Mobile Park (homes of the Seahawks and Mariners) and the hospitality providers for giants like Amazon and Microsoft.
This pandemic has decimated our job opportunities for the men and women we serve, and we've had to close down most of our services out of safety for everyone involved. This puts hundreds of men, women, and their families at risk of eviction, going hungry, and falling back to place of despair they've worked so hard to escape or avoid.
We are rushing to get aid and resources to our workers, and we need your help. Your donations could help fund housing subsidies for our workers, gift cards to grocery stores/restaurants, and/or suppelemental income if that best serves the individuals' needs.
This break in the job market could cause the homelessness population to balloon out of control, and we are doing everything we can to help people remain safe and stable during this time. We want our community members to help uplift those most vulnerable during this crisis, and we're counting on you to support this mission.
Please consider giving what you can and know that all money will be going toward direct support efforts of men and women in need. Thank you for keeping your community in mind while we all work to get through this challenge time.
