Please support this campaign, no contribution is too small. When you support this campaign, your contribution makes it possible for us to provide canvases and supplies for students and families at Saugus High School on May 11th - but it goes much further than that. Your contribution will directly impact Million Little’s ability to offer life changing services and programs to those who are most at risk.

About Million Little: Million Little is a nonprofit that works with children who have experienced trauma. This encompasses incarcerated teens, youth in foster care, and homeless teens within our local population. The number of youth we can reach in this programs gets greater when we have more support, from members of the community like you. We began our Million Little Canvases campaign as an outreach to gain momentum within the community. We invite the community to experience firsthand the healing potential of creativity and mindfulness which is displayed within our programs. Our programs involve many different types of expression from dance, music, creative writing, sculpting, painting, and many more. Participants at our events are provided with sponsored mini canvases and encouraged to express themselves. By sharing their voice, these artists can help at-risk children, adults and families find theirs.
About Saugus Literary Magazine: Literary Magazine—or simply “Lit Mag”—is a class dedicated to spreading the youth voice. Every year Lit Mag produces a magazine, The Centinel, which is a compilation of student artwork—written and visual. Along with the magazine, Lit Mag puts on a Festival of the Arts at Saugus High School where students read their work and present their art in our art gallery. The Festival also includes performances from dance, choir, theater, and speakers. Everyone in attendance receives a copy of the Centinel. Our motto is “by the youth, for the youth.”
