This fundraiser is in hopes of raising money to cover at least ONE (if not all 4) of our #GivingTuesday featured projects, which are noted in the updates. We have over 25 projects on our current list and need your support to help these veterans live freely in their own home.
Newman’s Own Holiday Challenge offers us the opportunity to win daily and total prizes - potentially $150,000! But we can’t get there without you. EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS! Remember, .97 of every $1 you give goes in our programs. Or maybe you have a construction company? Donate your service! There’s many ways to help. If nothing else, tell all your friends about this link!
**IF YOU PREFER TO DONATE DIRECTLY WITH PAYPAL, THAT'S GREAT TOO! ** http://militarymissionsinaction.org/donate/credit-card-check/
If our nonprofit is new to you:
At MMIA, it is our mission to assist veterans, members of the armed forces and their families.
We believe veterans should be able to live safely and independently in their own homes, and make necessary handicap modifications to ensure that.
We believe in giving formerly homeless veterans a hand up, furnishing their empty apartments and providing basic kitchen and bath necessities to turn their house into a home.
We believe in encouraging the thousands of currently homelss veterans by providing health and hygiene kits, new boots, shirts, socks, and winter gear.
We believe in helping wounded transition units rehabilitate service members through the game of golf by donating gently used golf equipment.
We believe in supporting military children with special needs by providing home accessibility and creating social inclusion opportunities specifically for them.
We believe in boosting moral for units deployed overseas, and their families waiting at home.
We believe in those who selflessly served our country.
#GivingTuesday is a celebration of America's greatest traditions: generosity, entrepreneurialism, community. Everyone has something to give. You can give your time or expertise, monetary donations large or small, simple acts of kindness, or that old bedroom set taking up space in your attic. How will you join us in supporting our veterans and military families? Be sure to share our #GivingTuesday campaign!
