On Sunday, October 7th I will be running in the Boston Athletic Association Half Marathon to support the MS Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological disease that affects more than 2.3 million people around the world. Eight years ago, my mom was diagnosed with MS. Her constant strength, optimism and determination inspires me every day and gave me the motivation to run in the B.A.A Half Marathon. While 13 miles may seem scary to someone who has never run a race in her life, it pales in comparison to the challenges my mom has faced. This disease does not in any way define her, but it is something she will live with for the rest of her life. So, if my 13-mile race can make even the smallest difference in the lives of MS patients, I’m up for the challenge!
I am counting on the support of my family and friends to help me reach my fundraising goal of $10,000 and I would truly appreciate your help.
You can donate online right here or, if you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, write my name on the memo line, and mail to this address:
BWH Development Office

Thank you in advance for your support, which will help to inspire hope and raise vital funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Center.
