Years ago I overheard this conversation between two women on the elevator: "There is nothing I cannot do! When I crossed the finishing line, thats how I felt". It stuck with me, and chasing that experience is what eventually drew me to marathon running. I wanted to feel like there is nothing I could not do, and it turns out it's true! That is exactly how it is. I've crossed the finish line four times now, and it is time to give some of that back! Triumph, celebration, consolation, hope, tears, and joy. I have lived these myself, have seen them in others, and truly believe that miracles happen.
For my fifth marathon (the second this week), failure is not an option; please donate to support an organization that brings hope to the hopeless everyday by proving that because nothing is impossible, everything is possible.
