Migraine is not just a bad headache. It’s an extraordinarily prevalent and disabling neurological disease.
Migraines have been a part of my life since middle school. For nearly 20 years, I have endured the incapacitating physical symptoms and emotional distress caused by migraine attacks. Ranging from 2-12 migraines each month, I have been forced to miss classes, work, and time with those I care about. Occasionally, life with migraine has caused me to question my potential; but I will not give up.
Today I join Migraine Research Foundation in the fight against migraine.
Since 2006, MRF has funded 57 research studies in such areas as basic science, genetics, childhood migraine, and clinical and translational work in new treatments and therapies.
Migraine is the 3rd most prevalent and 6th most disabling disease in the world.
Despite its prevalence, migraine is the least funded of all neurological illnesses. This is where you can help! The money raised through my campaign will go to the Migraine Research Foundation, an organization that gives 100% of its donations towards funding migraine research.
Please join us in opening doors to a cure.
