We want to remind our community of the importance of being united. United We Fly- 4th of July invites neighborhoods, cities, states, and the country to come together as a nation - United we become stronger. The High Sky Wing, based at Midland Airport, has kept West Texas WWII history preserved and exhibited at the Midland Army Airfield Museum. This group is responsible for holding the annual AIRSHO, an event which has brought people to the community for several years.
Similar to many museums and nonprofit organizations, the COVID-19 pandemic has financially impacted the High Sky Wing. Despite this, the High Sky Wing is committed to continue to contribute to its hometown in every way possible. Your financial support can help.
If you are able to contribute to keep these wonderful aircraft flying and important history preserved, we do appreciate your help. We realize not everyone will be able to donate – another way you can contribute is to post a video on Facebook letting us know why a flyover for your neighborhood would make a difference.
