My husband Michael was taken away from us way too soon. On March 19, 2020 he tested positive for COVID-19 and fought for his life for 3 weeks in the hospital on a ventilator. Unfortunately, he had Multiple Myeloma which caused him to be immunocompromised and COVID-19 hit him hard.
He was one of a kind and touched many lives. He was the best husband, father, brother, son, and friend. His main goal in life was to make people happy and he never let his disease get in the way. He taught everyone that you can over come any obstacle that life throws and you, and still find the positive in every situation. He never asked for much, he was happy just being in the company of family and friends.
There is currently no cure for Multiple Myeloma, it is only a treatable disease. My family and I would love to see a cure and that can only happen if more research is done. All donations will go to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation in the hopes that my family and I will hear that a cure was discovered.
We know times are hard, but any amount can help. It would make him smile to know that through research, they can work towards finding a cure.
