ALS is not an incurable disease - it is an underfunded one
My friend Brian was diagnosed just after his daughter was born. We worked together on the Obama campaign in 2008 and in the White House, before we all moved to Chicago.
Knowing that more effort needed to be put into finding hope, he founded I AM ALS - a first of its kind advocacy organization to fight for a cure. The goal was to bring more congressional and federal awareness to the disease.
With your help, we can help Brian continue his fight.
Now the question is can we raise the funding needed to make Brian's treatment real and thereby halt Brian’s ALS and set us on the pathway to ending ALS.
This work, which involves a battery of testing, will cost $1.7 million. Brian and Sandra’s families have committed all of their resources to this effort and we have raised $150,000 already from some truly incredible souls. We are now launching One to All to raise an additional $1.55 million.
Please join us in helping make real this targeted treatment for Brian and in doing so take a cure from One to All.
One To All is fiscally sponsored by the The Hopewell Fund, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit (47-3681860). Donations are tax deductible.
**At this time we are reaching out to Brian and Sandra’s friends and family but ask everyone to please refrain from posting about this effort on social media to enable it to move forward as quickly as possible.**
