The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice is a community activist center, educational enclave, and safe space located in Princeton, NJ. Through advocacy, education, social justice actions, and special events hosted at its headquarters, the Rustin Center serves community members from all economic, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds. After pausing on-site programming 10 months ago due to Covid, the Rustin Center kicked off a weeknightly virtual Power Hour broadcast showcasing interviews with politicians, authors, and activists, plus yoga every Tuesday and entertainment every Friday. Every. Single. Weeknight. Since March 2020. The Power Hour now attracts thousands of viewers each week. I serve on the BRCSJ Board of Directors so I get to work with these angelic troublemakers year-round. Spoiler alert: more good works to come in 2021!
