After taking up running my senior year of college (after signing up for a half marathon with family when none of us were runners!), it's been a huge part of my life. Over the years it's transformed into something I love, and is something that takes over much of my life. Running the Boston Marathon is a huge goal, challenge and bucket list item for me - though, doing it while making an impact makes it even more important. Please support me in running the Boston Marathon - to support kids and their health. Bringing children of all backgrounds together, specifically from underprivledged neighborhoods and kids just needing a space for friends, health, collaboration, safety, and happiness - is something that is important to me, so I hope you join me in raising money to make change in their lives! Thank you to all of the supporters to come, and - I'll see you in Boston!

The Y builds healthy mind, body and spirit by reaching and teaching people at whatever stage they are at in their life.
For example, to build confidence, address the achievement gap and nurture future leaders who are empathetic and creative problem-solvers, we offer:
Early child care, preschool and afterschool programs
High Flight for at-risk youth
Summer camps and Counselor in Training
And, to support adults' health and wellness goals of adults, we offer:
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA for adult cancer survivors and their families to reclaim their health following cancer treatments;
Parkinson’s Disease Wellness Program for those with Parkinson’s disease, MS, or any other neuromuscular conditions;
Falls prevention classes for seniors to reduce the risk of falling or falling again.
And thanks to your generous donation, all of these programs, and more, are available to individuals and families, regardless of their current economic circumstances. Thank you for helping us all grow stronger, together.
