On April 15, 2019 I have been given the honor to run my first ever Boston Marathon in support of the MetroWest YMCA. The Y is a household staple in thousands of Cities and Towns across the United States providing programs and tools for children, teens and families to work together to strengthen local communities.
As a Boston resident for 7+ years, my City is unique in the sense that each and every neighborhood feels like its' own community. Our "Small City/Big Town" has always shown incredible resilience, enforcing the sentiment of Boston Strong for all those lucky enough to call New England home. It is this overwhelming sense of pride that has made running the Marathon a goal of mine for as long as I can remember.
The MetroWest YMCA instills that same sense of pride I feel as a Bostonian in its local community of Framingham, to work side-by-side with neighbors and to make sure everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
Thanks for visiting my page, and I hope you will consider donating to this incredible organization, and supporting my goal.
