Mentoring Through Movement (MTM) is a non-profit organization that serves middle and high school students in the “foster-to-adopt” system. Our goal is to help as many students as possible, regardless of background or financial situation; we are dedicated to helping students succeed. The MTM program mixes mentoring, movement, and academic coaching. Incorporating these three aspects helps us to provide individualized support to each student—both academically and in life.
With school systems changing rapidly to accommodate COVID-19, many students are losing access to resources previously available to them during "in-person learning," while also adjusting to an entirely new learning environment. We want to provide them with the structure and accountability that remote learning lacks.
We are working to bridge the education gap by ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to succeed academically. For more information, check out our flyer.
