We are all in this together... and we are here for you.
During this time of crisis dealing with the COVID 19 pandemic, anxiety and depression are an all-time high. People today are not only afraid for their lives, but also for their livelihoods, and are experiencing the feelings of isolation and loneliness brought on by the necessity of social distancing and mandatory shutdowns.
Community Counseling Center is here to help anyone in need of behavioral health and/or case management services.
Thirty years ago, during the apex of the AIDS pandemic, Community Counseling Center was created to meet the mental health needs of an over-looked population. Through the years, CCC has expanded services to include substance abuse counseling, specialized mental health services for adolescents and LGBTQ+ persons, case management and care advocacy, and HIV testing. CCC currently treats over 4,000 clients a year, and has continually adapted and evolved to meet the needs of the people of Southern Nevada. And now we are doing that once again in the face of the Covid-19 health crisis by launching our new, confidential telecounseling services for all current and new clients. Telecounseling services, including assessment, individual and group sessions, and case management will utilize telephone and video enabled devices to conduct HIPAA compliant, confidential therapy with one of our licensed and certified clinicians.
Needless to say, because of the climate of the economy and the cost of the equipment and software to offer telecounseling, CCC is in need of donations. Any amount will help, and any amount is appreciated. Stay safe and stay home, and call us if you need to talk...
