"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." ~ Helen Keller
The MEG Pink Doves are answering the call to action to spread the word and help put an end to breast cancer. Going pink and casual for a cause is about so much more than simply getting to wear jeans to work, it's about doing something tangible and purposeful to fund research for a cure.
This year about 268,600 American women are expected to be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and 41,760 women are expected to die from the disease. But, together, we are stronger than breast cancer.
Since the event began in 1996, Denim Days participants have raised more than $98 million to make sure those facing the disease know we stand with them in the fight. Proceeds support the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs and services. From investing in research to providing free rides to chemo and places to stay when treatment is far from home, the American Cancer Society is there for those facing breast cancer – and all cancers – every step of the way.
Join the Pink Doves of MEG as we band together in with the nationwide Denim Day Movement!
