Brit and I started this GoFundMe to allow guests the option of donating to CTF in lieu of giving a more traditional wedding gift. We raised $1,400, all of which I was able to match through my employer, Google!
Now, I'm reopening this effort for my birthday week in hopes of fundraising even more. I'd be honored if you made a donation to the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF), a charity that is near and dear to my heart. Again, Google will match every donation dollar. No donation is too small.
The Children’s Tumor Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting neurofibromatosis (NF), a progressive neurological disorder. NF occurs in one in every 3,000 children and is more prevalent than cystic fibrosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and Huntington’s disease combined.
As the largest non-government funding source of NF research, CTF is making significant progress toward effective NF treatments. There is no approved cure for NF, but there are many active and promising NF clinical trials helping researchers learn more about the underlying causes of NF and what makes tumors grow. CTF and its researchers are hopeful that they will be able to offer FDA approved drugs for NF in the near future, but they can't sustain and undertake critical new research initiatives without ample donor support. You can learn more about CTF's impact here.
Thank you for your support!
