Hi, my name is Patch and I have quite the story. I made my way to Blue Mountain Humane Society after being found with porcupine quills embedded in my skin. I was in pretty bad shape and desperately needed help. I am very thankful for the kind person who came to my rescue and connected me with BMHS. My life turned around that day and I'm happy to report that I've since been adopted! While I may continue to have complications from my porcupine incident, I know I’ve made it through the worst part.
My success story wouldn’t have this positive ending without Winston’s Fund which is there to care for animals just like me. I’m grateful for the vets, shelter staff and those who give to Winston's Fund who made my time at BMHS a place of hope and healing!
Give today to help cover my medical costs. While I am on the mend, my care was not inexpensive and that's why Winston's Fund is so important. Any extra funds raised will go directly into Winston's Fund to help more animals like me at Blue Mountain Humane Society!
More about Winston's Fund:
Winston’s Fund provides emergency, lifesaving veterinary care for ill and injured animals. The fund was established in 1994, in honor of a beloved pet of Randy and Kathy Kaping, Winston the Basset Hound, to provide dedicated funding to treat ill and injured pets. It was created for both owned and unowned animals with a goal of saving lives and preserving the bond between people and pets.
