Help insure that all the children in West Africa receive lifesaving innoculations! Join with the Rotary Club of Tulsa Sunrise, in collaboration with the Kumbo Rotary Club of Cameroon, in sending Medical Supply Network Inc (MSNI) sea containers of critical medical supplies to rural area hospitals and clinics in Cameroon, West Africa.
MSNI collects donated medical equipment and supplies from a five state area, then ships sea containers to Rotary clubs in developing countries for delivery to their clinics and hospitals. Rural hospitals and clinics in Cameroon are bare, dilapidated and totally rundown. Increasing access to medical supplies will play a central role in ensuring health care for all, save many lives and reduce avoidable deaths. These sea containers carry over $100,000 worth of medical equipment and supplies.
MSNI needs $25,000 to send three containers of medical supplies to West African countries. Nine out of ten people in Cameroon cannot access even the most basic surgical services. When delivered, the first container full of medical and dental equipment will serve the basic needs of Oku Sub Divisional Hospital, Upkwa Health Center, Koutaba Clinic and Kumbo Health District Hospital of Cameroon. The Kumbo Rotary Club of Cameroon has already raised $1,000 toward the shipping costs.
