**UPDATE**
Thanks to all who have donated so far! Your support is greatly appreciated!
Our mission is STILL on schedule for the last week on June.
As you know, Fuego erupted on June 3, 2018. The volcano is 1.5hrs away from where will be in Antigua, and the lava flowed in the opposite direction toward the coast. On June 17, 2018 an earthquake of 5.6 magnitude hit approx. 12 miles from Escuintla, the area at the Fuego volcano's base which suffered the most.
Our team leader closely monitoring the situation to ensure our safety and patient access to us. Our MMFC team is dedicated to our patients, we plan to continue forward with our scheduled mission.
Thank you for your support!

Hi Friends! This June, I will be traveling to Guatemala on my 9th mission with Medical Missions for Children. During the mission week I will be providing administrative assistance for the volunteer team of surgeons, dentist, anesthesiologist, and nurses.
My fundraising goal is $2,500, which will cover the cost of running one operating room for one day.
Medical Missions for Children (MMFC) is a 501c3 nonprofit specialized in the surgical repair of cleft lip and palate deformities, burn injuries, microtia (absence of the outer ear) and head/neck tumors. MMFC provides surgeries free of charge to children who would otherwise never have access to this care. They also provide dental care to special needs patients during many of their trips. MMFC conducts close to 20 missions a year, 3 of which are in Guatemala.
Please consider donating via this page to support their Guatemala missions, or head to their main website (www.mmfc.org) to learn more about the work they do around the world. Over the years, I've participated in their Guatemala and Ecuador missions - it's amazing to see the impact MMFC continues to have in changing the lives of the children and their families.
