Gunner is a six-week-old kitten who was found by a Good Samaritan lying helpless on the white line on the side of Fruitville Road, 20 miles east of I75. He was alone during the heavy rainstorm in the middle of nowhere surrounded by endless fields and ditches that flooded onto the roadway. The Good Samaritan could see he was badly injured, but still alive, and in need of emergency medical care.
Gunner had the will to live - he is a fighter. In his young life, he has already undergone two major surgeries. The first surgery was to repair his lower jaw and the second surgery was to place a pin in his right leg, a plate in his left leg and his jaw needed further medical treatment at that time.
After making it through his surgeries, this brave kitten is resting and recovering in his foster home and receiving lots of loving care and attention.
We need your help covering Gunner’s medical expenses. He still has ongoing medical care, including checkups, bandage changes and x-rays to ensure that he is healing properly.
For those of you who are able to help us, we thank you. Every little bit helps and keeps our mission alive.
