As many of you know, I started running about 20 years ago, and it has become more than just a hobby. Running has become a foundation in my life, and I can honestly say that I would not be the person I am today without it. This God-given gift has blessed me in so many ways. Recently, a desire has grown to pass the blessing forward instead of simply racking up personal times and numbers.
The MEB foundation was gracious to accept me onto their team for the 2020 Boston Marathon. I am truly blessed to have this opportunity, and am looking forward to not only running Boston again, but (more importantly) doing so while raising funds for a great cause.
The MEB Foundation is based upon the value set of Meb Keflezghi. Meb is arguably the best American marathon runner of recent time, winning the Boston and New York marathons, as well as an Olympic silver medal. His foundation is based upon Maintaining Excellent Balance (MEB). That focus resonates strongly with my beliefs around exercise, education and community, especially for our youth.
Mission: to be a collaborator and leader in the areas of youth health, education and fitness.
I hope that you relate to the efforts and benefits of the mission above. If so, and you have the means, please consider supporting the MEB Foundation through a donation to my campaign.
Thank you and God Bless.
