Sometimes in life, you need a mentor to help build your confidence, network and listen to your ideas. One focus of the CBTF Young Professionals group is to provide mentorship for CBTF brain tumor survivors who are trying to find employment and careers which will match their strengths and supports their needs.
Brain tumor survivors face a five times higher unemployment rate than other childhood cancer survivors. They often talk about feeling isolated because people their age don't understand them and don't take the time to get to know them.
Help our team reach its goal so that CBTF and the YPG's can continue to build a support community, improve the career options for teen and young adult survivors, and bring people together for a good time. The money raised here will support the only Carrer Program in the country for brain tumor survivors.
Thank you for making a difference!
