Founded in 2005, Pitch In For Baseball & Softball believes that baseball and softball are effective tools for youth development. Not only do they give kids a chance to be a kid and play, but they also help to create healthy communities, break down barriers, and instill valuable life lessons. PIFBS aims to reduce barriers to play and bring communities together by collecting and redistributing much needed baseball/softball equipment to groups serving under-resourced children. Since 2005, PIFB has donated more than $9 million in equipment to help 800,000 kids play ball in every state and 100 countries worldwide.
For my bar mitzvah, I've chosen to raise money and collect for this organization because baseball is my favorite sport, so I feel particularly connected to this cause. PIFBS also donates a tremendendous amount of equipment to Israel, which is especially meaningful to me.
Thank you in advance for your donation!
