My name is Joshua Roberts and I am participating in the Tough Ruck 2020 in memory of Matthew Cote. Matthew was not just a best friend and brother to me but to all who really knew him. His selflessness, caringness and humor was irreplaceable and contagious. Matthew served in the United States Marine Corps from 2006 to 2010 and fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. Matthew like most veterans had his ups and downs with PTSD and passed away suddenly on December 20, 2018. I will be carrying Matthew through the 26.2 mile course through the battle grounds of the Revolutionary War in hope to bring awareness to not only PTSD but all struggles with returning home. All donations will go to Military Friends Foundation and help benefit military families in all aspects of life. Thank you for all support and "We Ruck For Those Who Cant"
