Hi! As you probably know Amanda and I are getting married on June 29th and instead of asking for things that we do not need when we already have so much (and when we have amazing friends and family like you) we'd rather you help us help the world's staggering number of refugees who truly do need support. I know it's hard to think about all of the upheaval going on all over the world right now and how it is devastating lives the world over. We know that it affects ordinary people who have been forced to flee their homes on their own, those who had to suddenly escape war zones with their families, and in some cases even entire communities have had to flee their homeland because of unspeakable dangers. While it can feel overwhelming at times, to do something is far better than to do nothing. We feel that in a small way that we can combine our efforts to make and even greater positive difference when we can pool our resources like this for such a happy occasion. We are so very lucky and grateful for all that we have in our lives and we believe that it's the helping of others who have had their lives upended suddenly that we can honor our good fortune as well as those less fortunate. Others have helped us along our way so it is only right that we can help those that we can. Thanks so much for participating!
